I had just parked my car in the parking garage at my fancy pants corporate job (where flashy cars are occasionally known to frequent) and I saw a small, low car that sounded distinctly like a V12 drive by on the street.
Actually, I heard the car first and THEN saw it, briefly. I couldn’t identify it from the rear 3/4 but it looked like a sedan and it had horizontal tail lights with a silver strip through them that ran from one side to the other.
The only vehicle that I can think of would be the Aston Martin Lagonda Taraf... but did those even make it over here?
EDIT: Added a pic as payment.

I love it. This is the second time I’ve lived here. It’s growing like crazy so housing is a pain but the weather is great and the people are nice. Where are you located now?

I’ve lived here since ‘05. Best city ever imo.

I’m really a Mississippi Oppo but I work here in Nashville every week until I move. My “weekend” home is in Mississippi but I work from there Monday & Friday as well. I’m complicated lol

I have a friend that commutes to Dallas from Atalanta every week. I get it.

Ouch that’s quite s commute. I hope he flies!
I broke down and bought a Camry just before I accepted a full time job here. Prior to that I had a 2013 Dart GT and it’s a good thing I worked from home because it practically lived in the shop.
Needless to say I am in love with my Camry (Yeah I said it) because it’s one less thing to worry about. I guess I have been assimilated.

I’ve heard nothing but bad things about Darts, even from dodge people which is saying a lot. My family owns 9 Lexus and Toyotas for a reason. My parents have a Lexus/Toyota shop right there in a Nashville fixing them, which doesn’t sound like the best investment haha

I had the exact same thought as I saw that image in passing.

The Taraf is enormous. Maybe a DB11 or Rapide?

I’ve visited once and absolutely loved it - also helps that I’m 23 and single. Currently living in Minneapolis, born and raised.

It was lower and wider than an MKZ. I thought it was a Ferrari at first but I couldn’t find a model that had similar tail lights

$10 it belongs to Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman. They already have white Bugatti in Nashville so why not. There’s also an old Vanity Fair photo around of Nicole in a vintage Lagonda. Granted that was probably set up by the magazine but maybe they have a thing for them. According to a C&D review I read sometime last year Aston was offering the Taraf in the US, but only expected to sell 1 or 2 here

I almost moved to Minneapolis in 2013. The people I’ve met from there were so incredibly friendly. I’m not sure how I’d survive the snow though.

Fixing reliable cars seems like a better long term investment than fixing unreliable ones from a repeat customer standpoint.
I may hit you up for their shop name. My CPO Camry has a non function heated seat on the drivers side and if the stealership won’t cover it under warranty it will still need to be fixed another way.

I only saw it from the rear 3/4 and while it was really wide, the rear was very tidy. It’s hard to find good pics of the Taraf that show off its scale from the rear
